Grammy, Emmy and Tony winner Bette Midler shows off her singing ability on this album. The movie showed her (Academy Award Nominated) acting ability. I recently saw it again on the Fox Movie Channel, It's quite a movie and Bette Midler gives quite a performance.
Bette Midler reminds me of other successful people, such as someone she contributed to, Hillary Clinton -in the 2008 Presidential Primary race, Hillary Clinton not only received more votes than all of her rivals, she received more votes than any other Presidential Primary candidate in history.

Looking for the studio version...
A beautiful song - but it's a live version. I thought I remembered the original being a studio recording? Maybe it never cam eout on CD... 2008-06-07
